She is a 2008 homeschool graduate who has participated in many music opportunities throughout her education including Sound Jubilee Choir/Strings, Salem Youth Symphony, Willamette Falls Symphony, Willamette Girl Choir, Festival Chorale Oregon, Willamette Master Chorus, Corban University Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra. Currently, she teaches around 30 private students and is a member of MTNA/OMTA and NFMC/SFMC. Holly has been managing & teaching classes with Salem Upbeat Music for 5 years. She enjoys passing on the love and enjoyment of music to her choir students as well as her private students. In high school, she participated in Sound Jubilee Band and Choir, where director George Callen encouraged her to consider a career in music. After graduating from homeschool in 2011, Charity went on to attend Corban University, where she participated in band, choir, and orchestra; took lessons in voice, piano, organ, clarinet, french horn and more. She earned her B.S. in Music Education from Corban University and her Masters in Music Education from Anderson University (SC). Charity has taught piano for over 12 years and band for 4 years. She lived in Honduras, Central America, for a time and still has a passion for missions, language and travel.
