Charity Batson began her life-long love for music at the age of seven, when her mom started teaching her piano. In high school, she participated in Sound Jubilee Band and Choir, where director George Callen encouraged her to consider a career in music. After graduating from homeschool in 2011, Charity went on to attend Corban University, where she participated in band, choir, and orchestra; took lessons in voice, piano, organ, clarinet, french horn and more. She earned her B.S. in Music Education from Corban University and her Masters in Music Education from Anderson University (SC). Charity has taught piano for over 12 years and band for 4 years. She lived in Honduras, Central America, for a time and still has a passion for missions, language and travel. Her other interests include art, floral design, gardening, reading, and catching up with friends.
