Cherith's musical journey began on piano as a four year old girl. At the age of ten, she began cello lessons while actively continuing her piano lessons. During her high school years she continued her private lessons, participated in Salem Youth Symphony and actively played both piano and cello at her church. During her college years she taught cello, played in the college orchestra and traveled as the pianist for a college ensemble all over the country. She has also had the opportunity to record three string CD's with her two musically talented sisters. Since college she has gotten married and had four beautiful children. Though life has been busy with little ones, she has continued her love for music by teaching private piano and cello lessons. She also had the opportunity to teach music for five years at a small Christian school while living in SoCal. Since moving back to Oregon, she has renewed her love for cello by playing for multiple weddings and solo opportunities around the community.
Outside of her love for music, Cherith is an avid reader and great baker of all things sourdough. She loves drinking coffee with her hubby and getting outdoors on adventures with her kiddos.
